New histories is inspired by the work of Stan Squirewell, featured in 21c Louisville‘s current exhibition, Revival: Digging Into Yesterday, Planting Tomorrow, and his remixing of historic photographs with layering, collage, and paint. Like in Squirewell’s pieces, the cocktail combines disparate elements to reformulate the framework of J. ‘Popo’ Galsini’s tropical classic The Saturn with new flavors and textures.
