Cocktail Recipe: Oh Sugar

Inspired by his favorite song, our new Beverage Director, Davy Butterworth, shares his take on a Daquiri cocktail to help you stay cool all Summer long.

Try the Oh Sugar at home!*

  • 1.5 oz Plantation 3 Star Rum
  • .75 oz  Cardamaro
  • .75 oz Lime Juice
  • .5 oz Brown Sugar Syrup

To make the Brown Sugar Syrup: Combine 8 oz Brown Sugar and 8 oz of Hot Water. Cook on the stove until sugar is completely dissolved. Let it cool then store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled glass.

Bartender notes: This drink is a simple riff on a Daiquiri cocktail with a little extra earthy and vegetal notes to provide a deeper sense of balance in the cocktail.
